John is a woodworker who’s been making custom furniture and cabinetry for over forty years. He begain training as a woodworker as a student at Boston’s North Bennet Street School, the nation’s oldest woodworking school. After graduating from NBSS John then opened his own woodshop outside of Boston. In 2002 he moved to Ojai, CA, where he teaches furniture making at the Thacher School, and continues to make custom furniture and cabinetry for private clients.
